I support the attached submission on behalf of St Margarets The Ward Residents group to request to have the lands at Thornton Hall designated for the communities impacted by hte expansion of Dublin Airport, to safeguard their health and well-being.
I support the attached presentation from the St Margarets The Ward Residents group requesting the establishment of an International Expert Group to conduct a study on the impacts of Dublin Airport's expansion on local communities.
A Health Study should be conducted on the populations of Fingal affected to assess the impact from operations at Dublin Airport. The daa have not engaged medical expertise on the effects of air pollution or noise pollution. Fingal County Council, todate, have also not engaged medical expertise to help assess the impact of aviation on its residents.
Fingal County Council and the daa have been provided with a presentation from Professor Munzel from Germany who is a leading cardiologist and one of the highest ranked publishers on aviation pollution internationally. His advice is to restrict flights at night.
ANCA the new Competent Authority for Noise has not engaged medical expertise on its determiniation of operating restrictions at Dublin Airport.
I attach Professor Munzel's slides and below is a link to the presentation, and I request that FCC carry out a proper medical assessment of the citizens of Fingal.
