Objective HCAO48 Historic Bridges

Fingal CoCo has committed 1.44 million of its capital spend budget from 2021 to 2023 to preservation of the Guinness Bridge also called the Silver bridge or Farmleigh bridge. This will ensure that the bridge is preserved in its current state. Please consider futher investment to bring the bridge into full use which will enable cycling and walking between Fingal CoCo and Waterstown Park in Palmerstown. It will increase connectivity along the River Liffey and promotes sustainable travel. It will also enable connectivity for people to use the Phoenix Park and will reduce car usage around the Phoenix Park. I have elaborated in more detail about potenital outer loop Greenway between Grand Canal and Royal canal via the Silver Bridge in documents attached.  By bringing the bridge into full use again it will address many of the current concerns about Climate crisis, congestion and pollution in Fingal CoCo.
