Refurbishment of Rush Multipurpose Youth Facility, including new extensions to front, side and rear of the existing building, upgrade to public realm and all associated services and siteworks at Mill Bank, Rush, Co. Dublin,K56 CC90.

 

In accordance with Part XI of the Local Government Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended), Fingal County Council hereby gives notice of the proposed works to be carried out at the above site:

Fingal County Council (Community Department) is proposing to refurbish and extend Rush Multipurpose Youth Facility on lands of 1.1 Ha approx. between Mill Bank and Channel Road, Rush, Co. Dublin. The proposal for the building includes extending the area of the existing two storey building by additional area of 74m² including a two storey extension to the side of the building and the provision of single storey extensions to the front and rear. The refurbishment also proposes the reorganisation of the internal layout to allow for community uses including the reuse of the first floor. A full upgrade of the public realm to the front of the building including partial realignment of road junction including all associated services upgrades and site development works, drainage alterations, and new external signage is proposed.

 

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at http://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during public opening hours at the following offices from Tuesday 19th February 2019 to Tuesday 19th March 2019 at:

Fingal County Council Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. D15 W638

between the hours of 9.30 am to 4.00 pm Mon-Fri (excluding Bank & Public Holidays)

and

Rush Library, Chapel Green, Rush, Co. Dublin, K56 ED95 (during library opening hours)

 

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made either online through the website https://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse or in writing to:-

on, or before 4.30pm on Tuesday 2nd April 2019

 

 

 

 

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this development will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development in accordance with the regulations of the Planning and Development Acts.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting. Details including the names of those making submissions may be shared with relevant Council Departments.

 

Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of the notice, apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment.
