TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AT R121 CLONSILLA LEVEL CROSSING XG010
Fingal County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to temporarily close R121 Clonsilla level crossing XGO10 on the 19th August 2023 to 20th August 2023 and 26th August 2023 to 27th August 2023 from 2200 hrs to 1000 hrs.
An application has been received on behalf of VIAE LTD, to temporarily close R121 Clonsilla level crossing XGO10 on the 19th August 2023 to 20th August 2023 and 26th August 2023 to 27th August 2023 from 2200 hrs to 1000 hrs. This is to facilitate track and level works within the Irish Rail Permanent Way at XG010 Clonsilla level crossing
Diversions will be signposted, and emergency access will be maintained.
For Southbound traffic, traffic follows the R121 Larch Grove east via Clonsilla. Proceed south onto the Diswellstown Road and continue south on the Porterstown road. Traffic to then proceed west on the Porterstown Road towards the R121 Westmanstown.
Northbound route
For Northbound traffic, traffic from the R121 Westmanstown direction continues east on the Porterstown Road. From there head north on the Porterstown road and continue north on the Diswellstown road. From there proceed west on the R121 via Clonsilla towards Larch Grove.
Local access will be maintained.
Pedestrian will be managed via Clonsilla Train station pedestrian footbridge.
Objections or submissions on the proposed Temporary Road Closure R121 Clonsilla level crossing XGO10 on the 19th August 2023 to 20th August 2023 and 26th August 2023 to 27th August 2023 from 2200 hrs to 1000 hrs can be made on the Consultation Portal http://consult.fingal.ie or alternatively in writing to Administrative Officer, Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart/Castleknock/Ongar Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 to arrive no later than 5pm Friday 14th July 2023.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
