TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF MALAHIDE ROAD, MALAHIDE, CO. DUBLIN 

An application has been received by Fingal County Council for the temporary road closure of Malahide Road from the junction of Yellows Walls Road to James Terrace, Malahide Co Dublin

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Malahide Village.   

The period of the proposed temporary closure will be from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Friday 17th March 2023. 

The alternative routes available for traffic during the proposed closure hours are as follows:

R107/Back Road Malahide-R124 onto Grove Road or The Rise-Malahide Road (R106) junction. 

Westerly from Malahide/Portmarnock 

Junction of Malahide Road (R106) and Yellow Walls Road 

The Rise/Grove Road-R124-Back Road-Malahide Road (R107) 

To/From the Marina Village Malahide 

East/West 

Bissett/Caves Strand - Yellow Walls Road and on to R106 /R107 as required. 

No local vehicular access will be provided during the times of closure, including access to Bridgefield Car Park. 

There will also be no through access from the New Strand/Strand Street/Marina Village junction to James Terrace (and vice versa) 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter. 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 17.00 on Wednesday, 1st March 2023.
