TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF KINSEALY LANE, MALAHIDE, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received by Fingal County Council Operations Department for the temporary road closure of Kinsealy Lane, Malahide, Co. Dublin, from Connolly Avenue to the Back Road Junction, Malahide.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate road resurfacing works.

The period of the proposed temporary road closure will be from Tuesday 19th March 2024 until Friday 29th March 2024 as follows:

Monday to Friday (both weeks)

– 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Road Closed

– 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm Road Open with Stop/Go Traffic Management

– 7.00 pm – 7.00 am Road Closed

– 7.00 am – 8.00 am Road Fully Open

– 8.00 am – 9.00 am Road Open with Stop/Go Traffic Management

• The road will be fully open on Saturday and Sunday.

The alternative routes available for traffic during the proposed closure hours are as follows:

Northbound Kinsealy Lane junction with Back Road, Malahide  Drumnigh Road (R124) and Back Road, Malahide or alternatively use the Malahide Road (R107) and Back Road, Malahide
 Southbound Kinsealy Lane Junction with Chapel Road  Drumnigh Road (R124) and Chapel Road or alternatively Malahide Road (R107) and Chapel Road

Local access will be provided over the period of the closure for pedestrians and cyclists.

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00 p.m. on Monday 26th February 2024.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
