TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CRESCENT ROAD RUSH, CO. DUBLIN 

 

 

An application has been received from GMC Utilities Group Limited for permission to temporarily close Crescent Road, Rush, Co Dublin for the purpose of installation of sewer and water connection on behalf of Irish Water. It is proposed that the road will be closed 21st August 2023 to 22nd August 2023 for 24 hours per day. 

 

The permitted working hours are between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday and between 09:00 and 16:00 on Saturdays.  No works are permitted on Sundays and Bank Holidays. 

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows, dependant on direction of travel.   

Traffic travelling to Crescent Road Rush from West: - Traffic travelling from South Shore Road, continue on South Shore Road, turn left onto Linkside Road and then onto Crescent Road. Advance signage will inform traffic of diversion route and road closure.  

  

Traffic travelling to Crescent Road Rush from East: – Traffic travelling from South Shore Road continue onto Linkside Road, then turn left onto Crescent Road. 

 

Advance signage will inform traffic of diversion route and road closure. 

 

Local access will be maintained at all times. Emergency Services access will also be made available in the event of an emergency. 

 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter. 

 

 

 

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00 noon on 1st August 2023.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.  

 

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. 

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
