TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CHAPEL LANE, ROWLESTOWN, CO DUBLIN

 

 

An application has been received from GMC Utilities Ltd, for permission to temporarily close Chapel Lane, Rowlestown, Co. Dublin, to facilitate sewer and water connections.  It is proposed that the road will be closed for 24hrs from 4th July until 8th July 2022.  The road is closed for 24 hours and permitted working hours shall be between 08:00 and 20:00 Monday to Friday.

 

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:

 

Traffic travelling Eastbound - Traffic travelling on Wren’s Nest toward Chapel Lane

 

Take a right hand turn towards Rathbeale Road/R125 junction, turning left onto Rathbeale Road/R125, continue on R125 then turning left onto Lispopple Road, continue on Lispopple Road to return to Chapel Lane junction.

 

 

Traffic travelling Westbound Traffic - Traffic travelling on Lispopple Road

 

Continue straight on Lispopple Road, turning right onto Rathbeale Road/R125, continue on Rathbeale Road/R125 to Wren’s Nest junction, then turning right onto Wren’s Nest to return to Chapel Lane junction.

 

 

Traffic will be notified and diverted at Balcultry Road/R125 junction & Rath Lane of Chapel Lane closure.

 

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Emergency Services access will also be made available in event of an emergency.

 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.

 

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00pm Monday 20th  June 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
