ROADS ACT 1993  TO 2015– SECTION 75

 

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BRACKENSTOWN ROAD, SWORDS, CO DUBLIN

 

An application has been received from John McQuillan (Contracts) Ltd, for permission to temporarily close Brackenstown Road, Swords, Co. Dublin, to facilitate road resurfacing works being carried out on behalf of Fingal County Council. It is proposed the road will be closed from 9.00am to 6.00pm on Monday 8th June 2020 until Friday 12th June 2020.

 

Brackenstown Road in bound Traffic:

From the closure point on R108, vehicles will be directed towards the R125, (Swords Ashbourne Road). At the junction of the R108 and R125 vehicles will be diverted right onto the R125. Vehicles will continue along the R125 until the R125/Ardcian Park Road Junction traffic lights- at the light’s vehicles will turn right onto the Ardcian Park Road. Vehicles will continue along the Ardcian Park Road to the Brackenstown Road junction.

R108 out bound traffic:

From the closure point on the Brackensown Road vehicles will be diverted back along the Brackenstown Road to the Brackenstown Road/Ardcian Park Road Junction traffic lights- at the light’s vehicles will turn left onto the Ardcian Park Road. Vehicles will continue along until the Ardcian Park Road/R125 Junction traffic lights- at the light’s vehicles will turn left onto the R125. Vehicles will continue along the R125 to the junction of the R108 where they will be diverted left onto the R108 . End of diversion

 

Local Access will be facilitated where possible and extensive diversion and information signage will be in place.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm Friday 22nd May, 2020.
