TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF BALSCADDEN ROAD, HOWTH, CO. DUBLIN
An application has been received by Fingal County Council Operations Department for the temporary road closure of Balscadden Road, Howth, Co. Dublin. The purpose of this closure is to facilitate Road Maintenance Works.
The period of the proposed temporary closure will be from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Tuesday 2nd May 2023 to Friday 19th May 2023.
The alternative routes available for traffic during the proposed closure hours are as follows:

Along Abbey Street (R105), Thornaby Road. Nashville and Kilrock Road
Local access for residents on Balscadden Road will be provided over the period of the closure with pedestrian access maintained over the duration. Cyclist can use the alternate route outlined.
Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.
Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00p.m on Tuesday 11th April, 2023.
All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
