TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AT R109 ROAD ON SUNDAY 14TH MAY 2023
Fingal County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to temporarily close R109 Road on Sunday 14th May 2023 from 11am to 12pm.
An application has been received on behalf of the Italian Embassy to temporarily close the R109 Road for a non-competitive bike race starting from Phoenix Park to Lucan House, with a second route starting in Fort Lucan and finishing in Lucan House.
Diversions will be signposted, and emergency access will be maintained.
• Diversion by Tower Road on to Carpenterstown Road
• On to Diswellstown Road
• On to Porterstown Road
• Use R121, turn right onto Westmanstown Road to bring vehicles onto R149
R121;
• Is closed at the junction of Westmanstown Road down to Lower Road.
• Drive by Westmanstown Road onto R149
Objections or submissions on the proposed Temporary Road Closure at R109 Road, on Sunday 14th May from 11am to 12 pm be made online through this Consultation Portal or alternatively in writing to:
to arrive no later than 5pm Friday 31st March 2023.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting
