TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF OLD MILL ROAD L5085 CO. DUBLIN
An application has been received from Triur Construction on behalf of Fingal County Council for permission to temporarily close Old Mill Road, L5085, Co. Dublin for the purpose of a bridge remediation. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 27th of May 2024 to 21st of June 2024 for 24 hours per day.
Permitted working hours shall be between 08:00hrs and 19:00hrs Monday to Friday.
No works shall take place on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Alternative route available for vehicular traffic is as follows;
Traffic travelling South: Turn right at Gibblockstown onto the L-16183, then turn left onto R108 at Harbourstown. Follow R108 to Naul Village and take a left onto R122 towards Balbriggan. Road signage will inform traffic of diversion routes and road closures.
Traffic travelling North: Continue on R122 Naul Road, then turn right onto R108 at Naul Village. Follow R108 and take a right at Harbourstown onto the L-16183. Road signage will inform traffic of diversion routes and road closures.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Emergency Services access will also be made available in the event of an emergency.
Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.
Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00 noon 8th of May 2024.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
