Proposed Temporary Road Closure of Healy's Lane Rush

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HEALY’S LANE, RUSH, CO DUBLIN 

 

An application has been received from Roadstone for permission to temporarily close Healy’s Lane, Rush, Co. Dublin for the purpose of roads resurfacing works on behalf of Fingal County Council. It is proposed that the road will be closed for 24 hours per day during the period 24th July 2023 to 4th August 2023. 

     

The permitted working hours are between 08:00am to 18:00pm Monday to Friday and between 09:00 and 16:00 on Saturdays.  No works are permitted on Sundays and Bank Holidays. 

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows, dependant on direction of travel.  

Northbound: Traffic approaching westerly along Channel Road will be informed to divert straight until the junction with Spout Road. At this junction traffic will be diverted right onto Spout Road and continue until the Spout Road/ R128 Junction. Traffic will be diverted to turn right onto the R128 and continue straight until past the R128/ Healy’s Lane junction, ending their diversion route. 

  

Southbound: Traffic approaching westerly along R128 will be informed to divert straight until the junction with Spout Road. At this junction traffic will be diverted left onto Spout Road and continue until the Spout Road/ Channel Road Junction. Traffic will be diverted to turn left onto Channel Road and continue straight until past the Channel Road/ Healy’s Lane junction, ending their diversion route. 

 

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Access for Emergency Services access will be made available if required. 

 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter. 

 

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00 noon the 4th July 2023.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.  

 

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. 

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
