PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF R124/ DRUMNIGH ROAD, MALAHIDE, CO. DUBLIN FOR WORKS AT SEAMOUNT ROAD JUNCTION

An application has been received from John Craddock Ltd. on behalf of Irish Water for the temporary road closure of the R124/ Drumnigh Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin.

It is proposed that the R124 road between its junction with the Back Road, Malahide and Blackwood Lane, be closed from 08.00 on Monday, 19th April 2021 until 18.00 on Saturday, 1st May 2021.

The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate the installation of a 400mm watermain at the R124 junction with Seamount Road.

The alternative route for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure is
as follows:

Local access will be provided over the period of the proposed closure.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at
https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide
Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 Monday, 29nd March 2021.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the
Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory
report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made
submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and
consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the
name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of
the meeting.
