Are you concerned about women’s safety in your area?
Women’s access to leadership positions?
Whether women’s physical and mental needs being met?
Whether women’s voice in finding solutions for climate change?
Do you ever wonder if there is a way to influence such important issues through our local councillors?
Do you still feel the call to make things better?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you might be the person to sign up to “Finding the Voices of Fingal Women Pioneers”.
Fingal County Council are now inviting local women to come along and apply to be part of Finding the Voices of Fingal Women Pioneers, a creative community coaching leadership programme.
This project seeks to establish a supportive platform for women, empowering them to articulate their leadership, deepen community connections, and drive change in the local election context. This process will delve into the 'mythology' of leadership, council influence dynamics, and community connections, culminating in a public event where women present their work through an immersive artistic experience.
The programme will commence on the 13th April and will run until July 11th.
The programme will include three phases:
- Phase 1: Leadership & Change, Two days in person intensive Online Coaching, April 13th-14th.
- Phase 2: Connect and gather, Fortnightly 2 hours online group coaching sessions (total of 4 sessions), combined with attending 3 local events to gather input from other women.
- Phase 3: Storytelling, One day in person intensive followed by a public event displaying our voices in an immersive art installation. July 10th – 11th .
