ROADS ACT 1993 TO 2015 – SECTION 75 TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MOUNTGORRY WAY ROUNDABOUT, SWORDS, CO DUBLUIN

An application has been received from Breedon Group for permission to temporarily close Mountgorry Way Roundabout, Swords, Co. Dublin for the purpose of resurfacing works on behalf of Fingal County Council. It is proposed that the roads will be closed at night time only between the hours of 21.00pm and 6.00a.m. from 23rd March 2020 to 25th March 2020.

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:•  

Motorists travelling from the Malahide area towards Swords  Diversion via Malahide Road/Dublin Road (R107), then turn right at Feltrim Road. At the Feltrim Road/Mountgorry Way roundabout, take the second exit onto Mountgorry Way, then left onto Drynam Road to Pavilions/Malahide Road Roundabout. End of Diversion. •  

Motorists travelling from Pavilions/Malahide Road roundabout travelling towards Malahide   Diversion via Drynam Road, from Drynam Road turn right at Mountgorry Way. At Mountgorry Way/Feltrim Road roundabout take the first exit on to Feltrim Road. Turn left onto Malahide Road/Dublin Road (R107) towards Malahide. End of Diversion.

Local Access will be maintained at all times.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 6th March 2020. All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
