TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF N2 FROM MARKER POINTS 0.5 TO 5
An application has been received from Globalvia Jons for the temporary road closure of the N2 from marker points 0.5 to 5.
The purpose of this closure is to facilitate road resurfacing and is a continuation of the recent works at M50 Junction 5.
The period of the proposed temporary closure will be:
Northbound J1a to J3 – from Monday 20th March 2023 to Tuesday 02nd May 2023 24hrs
Southbound J3 to M50 J5 Finglas – from Monday 10th April 2023 to Friday 2nd June 203 24hrs
There will not be an overlap in closures of the Northbound and Southbound carriageways.
Local and emergency access will be provided for the period of the closure.
Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.
Any person may lodge an objection online through this Consultation Portal, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, BMCO Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 5pm Friday 10th March 2023.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
