TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HAYESTOWN ROAD/BROOK LANE, RUSH, CO. DUBLIN
An application has been received from GMC Utilities Group Limited for permission to temporarily close Hayestown Road/Brook Lane, Rush, Co. Dublin for the purpose of installation of a sewer connection. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 25th September 2023 to 27th September 2023.
No works shall take place on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
The road closure will be in place from the 25th September to the 27th September to permit night-time works to take place from 20:00hrs and reopened for traffic in the mornings at 05:00hrs. There will be a road plate to allow access up and down the road as required, during the works. The road will be backfilled and open for traffic as normal during the day.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Emergency Services access will also be made available in the event of an emergency.
Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.
Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00 noon on 14th September 2023.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
