ROADS ACT 1993 TO 2015– SECTION 75 

 

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ESTATE ROADS IN NORTH CO. DUBLIN 

 

An application has been received from APlayful City, for permission to temporarily close the following 4no. Housing estate roads listed below, for the running of a Fingal County Council community pilot event.  It is proposed that the 4no. Housing estate roads will be closed on Sunday 25th June 2023 from 12pm-4pm. 

 

The roads to be temporarily closed are: 

Ballygarra Park, Garristown – The road section at the bottom of the hill outside house no. 16 around turning right to the cul de sac. 

Clonmethan Green, Old Town - The road at the left side of the green as you enter the estate. 

Racecourse Green, Lusk - The road section adjacent to the large green outside house nos. 47-52. 

St Catherines Lawn, Rush - The road section outside houses nos. 10-20. 

 

Local access for residents will be maintained at all times. Emergency Services access will also be made available as required. 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter. 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 17.00pm Wednesday 7th June 2023.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.  

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individuals or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
