ROADS ACT 1993 TO 2015 – SECTION 75

 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF BARBERSTOWN LANE NORTH AND BARBERSTOWN LANE SOUTH

 

An application has been received by Fingal County Council Operations Department for the temporary road closure of Barberstown Lane North and Barberstown Lane South

The purpose  of these road closures is to carry out road improvement works to both roads in connection with the construction of the Ongar Barnhill Road. 

These roads will be closed intermittently between the 4th March and 29th March 2024, and will not both be closed at the same time. 

Local access will be maintained and a diversion route via R149 will be available for vehicular traffic for both road closure.  Diversions will be signposted when in place.

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.

Details and maps (showing diversions) will be available through the Consultation Portal at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart/Castleknock/Ongar Operational Area,  Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 5pm on Monday 19th February 2024.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
