Fingal County Council in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 and Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009 hereby gives notice that it has prepared a Scheme for the provision of traffic calming measures at the following locations:
Seatown Road, Swords – In the interests of road safety and convenience for all road users, Fingal County Council is proposing to introduce traffic calming measures on Seatown Road, Swords. The scheme provides for raised tables, ramps, line marking, uncontrolled crossings, bollards and associated engineering works.
St. Columcille’s Drive, Swords - In the interests of road safety and convenience for all road users, Fingal County Council is proposing to introduce traffic calming measures on St. Columcille’s Drive, Swords. The scheme provides for raised tables, ramps, line marking, uncontrolled crossings and associated engineering works.

· By Post addressed to Administrative Officer, Balbriggan / Rush / Lusk / Swords Operations, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15
Submissions must be received no later than 5.00 pm on Monday 6th May 2024.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Traffic Calming Scheme will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Traffic Calming Scheme in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
