TRAFFIC CALMING SCHEME

CASTLEVIEW RISE AND CASTLEVIEW AVENUE, SWORDS, Co. DUBLIN

 

Fingal County Council in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 hereby gives notice that it has prepared a Scheme of traffic calming measures at the following location:

 

Castleview Rise and Castleview Avenue, Swords, Co. Dublin.

The scheme includes the provision of the following:

  • 2 no. Proposed Traffic Calming Tables with appropriate road markings and signage
  • 3 no. Proposed Round Top Ramps with appropriate road markings and signage.

 

Plans and particualrs of the Scheme as shown on Drawing No. Swords/TC001/01 are available for inspection from 21st February 2017 to 4th April 2017 as follows:-

 

  • Fingal County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin  -  Mon to Fri 09.30am to 4.30pm
  • Applewood Community Centre, Applewood, Swords, Co. Dublin - Check locally for opening hours
  • Swords Library, Rathbeale Road, Swords, Co. Dublin  -  Mon to Thu 09.45am - 8.00pm and Fri-Sat 09.45am - 1.00pm and 1.45pm - 5.00pm.

 

The proposed scheme can also be viewed on-line on the Fingal County Council website https://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse

Representations in relation to the Scheme may be made in writing to Mr. Shay Barker, Senior Executive Officer, Operations Department, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 to be received no later than 4.30pm on Tuesday 4th April 2017.
