TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SKIDOO ROAD AND HANDS ROAD, CO. DUBLIN
An application has been received from KN Networks for permission to temporarily close Skidoo Road and Hands Road, Co Dublin, to facilitate installation of New Duct Route. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 09:00 to 18:00 hrs on 30th August 2021 until 25th September 2021. Permitted working hours shall be between 09:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 14.00 on Saturdays. No works permitted on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows: -
Diversion routes: -
Traffic along the R108: Travel southbound along the R108 to the junction of Magillstown Rd/Balheary Ave and turn left. Continue on Magillstown Rd/Balheary Ave for 2.4km until junction of Windmill Road/L-2037-0. Turn left and continue straight for 700m until the junction of the Windmill Road/L-2037-0 and the L-5115-0/Magillstown Road. Turn left and continue straight on the L-5115-0 Magillstown Rd/Balheary Rd for 3km. Continue to your destination.
Traffic along Hands Road (L-5115-0):
Travelling south on Hands Road continue straight for 3km along Magillstown Rd/Balheary Rd to the junction of Windmill Road/L-2037. Turn right and continue straight for 700m along Windmill Road/L-2037-0. At the junction of Windmill Road/L-2037-0 turn right. Continue straight for 2.4km along Magillstown Rd/Balheary Ave. At the junction with the R108 turn right. Continue onto your destination.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00pm on Friday 13th August 2021.
