TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF SOUTH SHORE ROAD, RUSH, CO. DUBLIN
(Between Hands Lane and Golf Road Junction)
An application has been received from ESB Networks for permission to temporarily close a section of South Shore Road, Rush, Co Dublin for the purpose of ESB ducting and permanent reinstatement works. It is proposed that the road will be closed between Hands Lane and Golf Road Junction, 8.00am to 6.00pm from 12TH April 2022 until 10th May 2022.
Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:-
South Shore Road is a two-way system with access permitted from the Golf Road, Sandy Lane and Hands Lane. During the works this two-way system will need to be lifted in order to maintain local access for residents.
Residents will access their properties from Golf Road, Sandy Lane and Hands Lane
Diversion routes will be either (dependant on direction of travel):
Via Sandy Lane to Sundrive Road to Hands Lane and back to South Shore Road
Via Golf Road to Sundrive Road to Sandy Lane and back to South Shore Road
Local access to all properties will be maintained at all times.
Diversion signage will be in place for the duration of the closure.
Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00pm on Monday 28th March 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
