TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF KILHEDGE LANE, LUSK, CO DUBLIN 

 

An application has been received from O’Hanlon and Farrell Contracts, for permission to temporarily close Kilhedge Lane, Lusk, Co. Dublin, to facilitate laying of new foul & storm lines to service the new development of Kilhedge Drive & Court.   It is proposed that the road will be closed 24 hours from 15th December 2021 until 4th March 2022.    

 

While the works are ongoing from 15th December 2021 until 4th March 2022, vehicles and pedestrians will have no access to Kilhedge lane between the junctions of Dun Emer Avenue with Kilhedge Lane and Chapel Farm Drive with Kilhedge Lane.  

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:  

 

Motorists approaching Kilhedge Lane from the Old Belfast Road (R132 ) will be diverted upon reaching the road works via Chapel Farm Drive/Chapel Farm Mews/Chapel Farm Road back onto Kilhedge Lane.  

 

Motorists approaching from the junction of Dun Emer Avenue with Kilhedge Lane will be diverted via Chapel Farm Road/Chapel Farm Mews/Chapel Farm Drive back onto Kilhedge Lane. 

 

Local access to all properties will be maintained at all times. 

  

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter. 

 

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00pm Friday 10th December 2021.

All comments or observation, including the names of those making comments/observations which are  submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure, will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.  

 

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. 

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission, the names of individuals or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
