TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HARBOUR ROAD LOUGHSHINNY, CO DUBLIN

 

An application has been received from Jon’s Civil Engineering Company Ltd, for permission to temporarily close Harbour Road, Loughshinny, Co Dublin, to facilitate installation of foul sewer rising main on behalf of Irish Water. It is proposed the road will be closed 9.00am to 6.00pm from 9th November 2020 until 4th December 2020.

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:

 

All vehicles wishing to access the Harbour Road, South of the Mine Road junction, will be able to do so before 9am each day and after 6pm. No through traffic will be available between 9am and 6pm with the exception of emergency services and local fishermen.

Pedestrian, cyclist and horse rider access will be maintained at all times.

 

Local access will be maintained.

 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.

 

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm Friday 23rd October 2020.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
