TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FEATHERBED LANE, RUSH, CO DUBLIN

 

An application has been received from KN Group, for permission to temporarily close L5290 and L-5275-2 Featherbed Lane, Rush, Co Dublin to facilitate installation of new duct route. It is proposed that sections of the road will be closed from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday 8th June 2021 until Saturday 11th July, 2021 excluding Sundays.

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:
 

Northbound Traffic (from Lusk to Loughshinny):
All vehicular traffic travelling from Lusk shall divert at Raheny Close via Rathmore Road (R127) and turn on to Station Road (R128) at the Remount Roundabout.  Continue on this road to Rush.  From Rush head north out the Skerries Road (R128) to Loughshinny at the L1285 Junction.

 
Southbound Traffic (from Loughshinny to Lusk):
All vehicular traffic travelling from Loughshinny shall divert at the L1285 junction into Loughshinny village before turning south on to the Skerries Road (R128). In Rush village turn west on to Main Street (R128) and continue on the R128 to Rathmore Road junction (R127) at the Remount Roundabout.  Turn north at the roundabout onto the R127 until you reach Raheny Close. 

 

Local Access will be facilitated where possible and extensive diversion and information signage will be in place.

 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm Friday 21st May 2021.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
