TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CLARKES ROAD & CORRSTOWN LANE COOLQUAY CO. DUBLIN

 

An application has been received from ESB Networks, for permission to temporarily close Clarkes Road and Corrstown Lane, Coolquay Co. Dublin, for the installation of ESB ducting works.  It is proposed that the road will be closed 24 hours  per day from 28th November to 6th December 2022.

 

The permitted working hours are between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday and between 09:00 and 16:00 on Saturdays.  No works are permitted on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows, dependant on direction of travel:

 

  • Travelling from R130 toward Coolquay Junction and Ward Cross Roundabout on the R135, take a left on to the R121.  Follow the R121 eastbound and turn left at the junction with the R122.  Follow the R122 northbound and take another left to Corrstown Lane.

 

Or

 

  • Travelling southbound along R122, turn right onto R121 towards the Ward Cross roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto R135 towards Coolquay Junction, then turn right onto R130.

 

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Emergency Services access will also be made available in the event of an emergency.

 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan/Rush-Lusk/Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00 noon Friday 4th November 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individuals or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
