ROADS ACT 1993 TO 2015– SECTION 75

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PARK ROAD, RUSH, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from IGSL Limited for permission to temporarily close Park Road (between St. Maurs GAA and Kenure Lawns), Rush, Co. Dublin. The closure will be to facilitate ground investigation works for road improvements. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday 8th July 2019 to Wednesday 10th July 2019.

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:-

Motorists travelling on the Whitestown Road wishing to access the St Maurs GAA Club should continue on the R128 Upper Main Street until the junction with Skerries Road. At this junction turn left and continue for 1.1km on the R128 Skerries Road until the junction with Palmer Road. At this junction turn left and continue on Palmer Road with caution.

Motorists travelling from Lower Main Street wishing to access the St Maurs GAA Club should turn right at the junction with Skerries Road and continue for 1.1km on the R128 Skerries Road until the junction with Palmer Road. At this junction turn left and continue
on Palmer Road with caution.

Motorists travelling southbound from Skerries Road wishing to access St Maurs GAA Club should turn right at the junction with Palmer Road and continue with caution. Motorists travelling southbound from Skerries Road wishing to access Rush Nursing Home should continue travelling on the R128 until the junction with the R128 Upper Main Street. At this junction turn right and continue for 650m.

Local Access for residents and Emergency Services will be maintained at all times.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 14th June 2019.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
