TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CORBALLIS ROAD, DONABATE, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from MEIC LTD. for permission to temporarily close a section of Corballis Road (a 400 m section from the junction with the R126 heading towards Balcarrick and Corballis Golf Clubs.), Donabate, Co. Dublin. This is to facilitate associated carriageway works for the Donabate Distributor Road Project. It is proposed that the road will be closed from Saturday 30th March 2019 until Saturday 27th April 2019.

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:-

Motorist traveling along the R126 and wish to access Corballis Cottages Road should continue on the R126 to Donabate Village and the junction with Balcarrick Road/New Road, taking right turn into Balcarrick Road /New Road and follow the Balcarrick Road /New Road until the roundabout at junction of New Road/Beach View and Corballis Cottages Road taking the 4th exit off the roundabout and follow Corballis Cottages Road up to their destination.

Motorist traveling from Balcarrick and Corballis Golf Club and wish to access the R126 via Corballis Cottages should continue on Corballis Cottages Road towards New Road roundabout at the junction of New Road/Corballis Cottages/Beach View, taking the 1st exit off the roundabout and follow the Balcarrick Road/ New Road until the junction with R126 at Donabate Village.

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 8th March 2019.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
