TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BALLEALLY LANE (L1180), LUSK, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from Dancor Civil Engineering Limited for permission to temporarily close Balleally Lane (L1180), Lusk, Co. Dublin, to facilitate road realignment and surface water drainage works. It is proposed that the road will be closed from Monday 1st October 2018 until Sunday 28th October 2018.

The road in question is:
The L1180 (Balleally Lane), which will be closed to through traffic from a point 200m west of the main entrance to Balleally Landfill to the junction with Rogerstown Lane.

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:

Motorists travelling north along the R127 and wishing to access Rogerstown Lane via the L1180 (Balleally Lane) should continue on the R127 until the roundabout at the junction of the R127/ R128, taking the 3rd exit off the roundabout and following the R128 east until the junction with Rogerstown Lane.

Motorists travelling west along the R128 and wishing to access the L1180 (Balleally Lane) via Rogerstown Lane should continue on the R128 until the roundabout at the junction of the R127/ R128, taking the 1st exit off the roundabout and following the R127 south until the junction with the L1180 (Balleally Lane).

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords
Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 7th September 2018.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report andminutes of the meeting.
