SUTTON TO MALAHIDE PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLE SCHEME NON-STATUTORY PUBLIC CONSULTATION

Fingal County Council (FCC), in conjunction with the National Transport Authority (NTA), is proposing to develop the Sutton to Malahide Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme which will provide a safe, high quality, sustainable transport and recreational route to link Sutton, Baldoyle, Portmarnock and Malahide.

The proposed Scheme will encourage recreation while offering an attractive alternative transport choice for school children and commuters to bring significant environmental, economic and health benefits to the wider community.

The proposed Scheme has been designed for people of all ages and mobility levels to travel safely on foot, wheelchair or bike, and will offer a facility separated from road vehicles for maximum safety along the vast majority of the route.

With a view to making consultation events accessible to as many people as possible, FCC will be holding two online webinars and one drop-in information session for the Scheme. Please refer to the online information for details of dates and times of these events (links provided in the table below).

Your feedback on the Scheme is very important to us and we would encourage you to take part in the process so that you can help to make the Sutton to Malahide Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme a premier amenity in Fingal which will benefit the whole community. Plans and documents can be viewed at the locations set out in the table below.
