Rush Paint and Shopfront Improvement Scheme

PAINT AND SHOPFRONT IMPROVEMENT SCHEME

Fingal County Council in partnership with Rush Community Council and the Department of Rural and Community Development (under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme 2018) has developed a Paint and Shopfront Improvement Scheme to financially assist in the improvement of building facades on Rush Main Street.

This Scheme is now extended to include residential properties on Main Street and includes the area from the junction at Doctors Lane and Whitestown Road, down Main Street to the Harbour and the maximum grant available will be 50% of the approved cost of the painting and improvement works to a maximum amount of €1,500.

A suggested colour palette for Rush has been developed. Application forms and more information is available at https://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse or by email at shopfrontscheme@fingal.ie.

Completed Application Forms should be submitted to Fingal County Council to Róisín Burke/Sarah Ryan, Planning & Strategic Infrastructure Department, County Hall, Main Street, Swords on or before 15th November 2019. All building/painting works to be fully complete by 31st December 2019, in order to avail of funding.
