TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES IN CASTLEKNOCK, DUBLIN 15 ON SUNDAY 19TH JUNE 2022
Fingal County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to temporarily close the following roads at the following times in Castleknock, Dublin 15 to facilitate the Castleknock 5k Run and the Castleknock Village Festival.
Temporary Road Closure to facilitate Castleknock 5k Run
The following temporary road closure will be in place from 10am to 12noon on Sunday 19th June 2022:
College Road from the junction with R806 (Myos), through Tower Road to the junction with Knockmaroon Road will be closed to traffic, emergency access only.
Traffic Diversions
Traffic from Chapelizod is diverted from the Knockmaroon Road junction along R109 Lower Road to Laraghcon and to Westmanstown Road to join with R121.
Traffic from Castleknock should use routes via Navan Road, City Centre and Conyngham Road or routes via Blanchardstown, Coolmine, Diswellstown Road and onto R121 to Lower Road and junction with Knockmaroon Road.

The following temporary road closure will be in place from 11am to 6pm on Sunday 19th June 2022:
R806 Castleknock Road from junction at College Road (Myos ) to junction with Auburn Avenue will be closed to traffic, local access and emergency access will be maintained.
Traffic Diversions
Traffic from southbound direction is diverted down Auburn Avenue and onto R147 to the junction at the Bell Pub Blanchardstown
Traffic from northbound direction is diverted from Bell Pub Blanchardstown onto R147 and
Access for cars only is available via Beechpark Avenue, Old Navan Road and Auburn Avenue.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted and stewarded. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
