PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF ST. MARGARET’S AVENUE & ST. MARGARET’S ROAD, MALAHIDE, CO. DUBLIN.

An application has been made by Fingal County Council Operation’s Department for permission to temporarily close St. Margaret’s Avenue and St. Margaret’s Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin. It is proposed St. Margaret’s Road to be closed from its junction with the Malahide Road as far as its junction with St. Margaret’s Avenue, and St. Margaret’s Avenue to be closed from the junction of St. Margaret’s Road as far as Church Road.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate road maintenance.

The period of the proposed temporary closure will be from 08.00 Monday, 11th July 2022 until 18.00 Sunday, 24th July 2022. 

The alternative routes for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure are as follows:

Local access will be provided over the periods of the proposed closures.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth, Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 on Monday, 20th June 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
