PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STOCKHOLE LANE, SWORDS, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from GMC Utilities Ltd. on behalf of Independent Pipeline Company Ltd. for permission to temporarily close Stockhole Lane (L2051), between the R139 and Baskin Lane, Swords, Co. Dublin.

The purpose of this closure is for the installation of a 200mm diameter aviation fuel line.

It is proposed that the road will be closed from 8.00am Monday, 24th February 2020 until 18.00pm Monday, 1st June 2020.

The alternative route for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure is as follows:

Local access will be provided over the period of the proposed closure.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00pm Monday, 27th January 2020.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual orbodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
