PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF
ST. MARGARET’S AVENUE, MALAHIDE,
CO. DUBLIN.

An application has been made by Fingal County Council Operation’s Department for the Temporary Road Closure of St. Margaret’s Avenue, Malahide, Co. Dublin from the junction of Church Road to the junction of St. Margaret’s Road.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate road maintenance and pipe laying.

The period of the proposed Temporary Road Closure is twenty-three days from
07.00hrs Monday, 8th November 2021 until 23.00hrs Tuesday, 30th November 2021.

The alternative route for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed road closure are as follows:

Local access will be provided over the closure period inclusive of pedestrians
and cyclists.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at
https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide
Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 on Monday, 18th October 2021.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the
Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory
report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of  individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
