PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF OLD YELLOW WALLS ROAD, MALAHIDE, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received by Fingal County Council, Operations Department for the temporary road closure of Old Yellow Walls Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin, from its junction with Estuary Road to the junction of Hillcrest Residential Estate by an existing road ramp.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate road surfacing maintenance.

The period of the proposed temporary closure will be from 08:00 Monday, 11th April to 18:00 Friday, 15th April 2022.

The alternative route for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure is as follows:

Westward from Estuary Road.
Destination
Yellow Walls Road.
Alternative Routes
Estuary Road, Swords Road and Millview Road.
Direction of Travel
Eastward from Yellow Walls Road.
Destination
Estuary Road.

Millview Road, Swords Road and Estuary Road .

Local access will be provided over the period of the proposed road closure with access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide
Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 on Monday, 14th March 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding
this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly
meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
