PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF LAUDERS LANE, SUTTON, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from Irish Rail for permission to temporarily close Lauders Lane, Sutton, Co. Dublin.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate resurfacing works by the railway crossing.

It is proposed that the road will be closed from 19.00 on Saturday, 11th June 2022 to 12.00 midday on Sunday, 12th of June 2022.

The alternative route for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure is as follows:

Station Road to Burrow Road Burrow Road Burrow Road Sutton Cross to Howth Road. Cross Railway Line at Claremont Road onto Burrow Road toward Lauders Lane.
Burrow Road to Station Road Station Road Cross the Railway Line at Claremont Road to Howth Road and to Station Road via Sutton Cross.

Pedestrian and cycleway access will be provided over the period of the proposed closure. Local access will be provided over the periods of the proposed closures.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 on Monday, 23rd May 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting
