NOTICE of PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT.

 

PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000 (as amended)

Part 8 of the PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001(as amended)

 

Proposed provision of residential building to site at Tuckett’s Lane, Howth, Co Dublin.

 

In accordance with Part XI of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001(as amended), Fingal County Council hereby gives notice of the proposed works to be carried out at the above site:
 
The proposal, which accords with the Development Plan policy and zoning objectives for the site,  includes the construction of a two-storey, brick-faced residential building with four number one bedroom universal designed adaptable dwellings at ground floor level with own door access & associated private terraces, four number two bedroom dwellings at first floor level with own door access & associated balconies,
a green flat roof with 8 no. solar panels; 9 no. car parking spaces to the south of the site including 4 no. accessible spaces, 1 no. visitor space and 4 no. standard spaces;
boundary walls; shared landscaped areas, a publicly accessible open space with seating and artwork to the south of the site adjacent to Tuckett’s Lane; new vehicular and pedestrian access to the site from Tuckett’s Lane, SUDS drainage and infrastructure; and all associated works.
 
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at http://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during public opening hours at the following offices from Thursday 6th December 2018  to Monday 14th January 2019;

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposal dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made either online through the website: http://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse  or in writing to:-

on, or before 4.30pm on Monday 28th January 2019
 
All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this development will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development in accordance with the regulations of the Planning and Development Acts. The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and
consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting. Details including the names of those making submissions may be shared with relevant Council Departments.  Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of the notice, apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment.
