Applicant: Fingal County Council Location: The Glebe Park, Balrothery, Co. Dublin

Proposal: Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of a Proposed Strategic Plan for The Glebe Park, Balrothery.

Proposed improvements to the park will comprise of the following:

  • New Play Facilities including Children’s Playground and Multi-use Games Area.
  • New Adult Exercise Facilities.
  • Improved Path Network including resurfacing of existing paths, additional sections of footpaths and improved vehicular/pedestrian access.
  • Upgrading of Car Parking.
  • Improvements to Sports facilities (Upgrading of existing sports pitch, development of a new sports pitch and tennis court).
  • Provision of a Community Garden Area.
  • Provision of additional seating and structure tree planting/Arboretum.
  • Provision of additional information/interpretative signage.

Plans and particulars of the proposal will be available for inspection from Tuesday 2nd May 2017, to Wednesday 14th June 2017 (between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm Mon-Thurs and 9.00am to 4.30pm Fri) at The Offices of Fingal County Council at County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin and Fingal County Council Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
