Proposed construction of Kellystown Cemetery and Access Road (off Diswellstown Road) on lands in Kellystown, north of Luttrellstown Castle Golf & Country Club, Dublin 15.

 

In accordance with Part XI of the Local Government Planning and Development Act 2000 to 2015 and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 - 2015, Fingal County Council hereby gives notice of the proposed works to be carried out at the above site:

 

Fingal County Council (Operations Department) is proposing to develop a new Kellystown Cemetery to provide approximately 3000 burial plots, 500 memorial plots and 500 niches in columbarium walls on lands ( 3.706 Ha) north of Porterstown Road.

The proposals also include the construction of a new carpark, a service building and all associated site development works including footpaths, concrete plinths, bin shelters, site landscaping, fencing and boundary walls.

A westward extension of Diswellstown Road from the existing schools entrance including a new access road to the cemetery will be developed on adjoining lands (approx. 04Ha).

 

As required by Article 81 of the 2001 Regulations and amended by Article 17(2) of the  2006 Regulations, plans and particulars of the development will be available for inspection from Thursday 30th June 2016, to Thursday 11th August, 2016 at:

 

The Offices of Fingal County Council, Civic Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 (D15W638)

between the hours of 9.30 am to 4.00 pm Mon-Fri

and

The Offices of Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin (K67 X8Y2)

between the hours of 9.30 am to 4.00 pm Mon-Fri

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made either online through our website  https://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse or writing to:-

All comments, including the names and addresses of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this development will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly they will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website.
