PROPOSED PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT BROADMEADOW RIVER AND FOOTPATH AND ASSOCIATED WORKS

In accordance with Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001-2015, Fingal County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to construct a pedestrian bridge over the Broadmeadow River Swords, and to provide footpath links between Thornleigh Estate and the council playing pitches at Balheary.

 

The proposed works include:

  • Installation of a 48m x 2.5m concrete footbridge
  • Provision of a tarmacadam footpath connection c.200m

 

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be made available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy at the following locations from Tuesday 01st March 2016 until Tuesday 29th March 2016:

 

Fingal County Council offices:

  • County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin
  • Civic Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15

Monday to Thursday from 09.00am - 5.00pm and Friday from 09.00am - 4.30pm

 

Other Locations:

  • Applewood Community Centre, Bunbury Gate Road, Swords.
  • Swords Library, Rathbeale Road, Swords.

Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development may be made through this consultation portal, or in writing to:

Senior Staff Officer, Balbriggan/Swords Area, Operations Department, Fingal County Council, Civic Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, or alternatively by email to BalSwoOpArea@fingal.ie on or before Tuesday 12th April 2016 (5.00pm).

Note:  All comments, including the names and addresses of those making the comments submitted to the council in regard to this development will form part of the statutorily required report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.  Accordingly they will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the council's website.
