The Notice of Intention to Extinguish the Public Right of Way at the Old Navan Road/Castleknock Tennis Club relates to the road and will not affect access to the M50 overpass. The extinguishment relates to a road closure process for the Old Navan Road as part of the proposed development by Castleknock Lawn Tennis Club for the extension of their indoor courts building and the provision of a public plaza. The Public plaza will redesign the dark cul de sac into a brightly lit public space enhancing access to the over pass for pedestrians and cyclists. Please see image below. Access to the overpass will be maintained during the construction period. Castleknock Lawn Tennis Club will be holding an information evening regarding the Development.

Objections or representations regarding the proposed extinguishment may be made in writing to Ms. Olivia McCormack, Administrative Officer, Operations Department, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 to arrive no later than 4.30pm on Friday 22nd March 2019.
