PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE R125 AT OAKHILL, ROLESTOWN, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from GMC Utilities Ltd on behalf of Uisce Eireann for permission to temporarily close The R125 at Oakhill, Rolestown, Co. Dublin for the purpose of a sewer connection to an existing manhole. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 22nd of July 2024 to 24th of July 2024 for 24 hours per day.

Permitted working hours shall be between 08:00hrs and 19:00hrs Monday to Friday.

No works shall take place on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:

Traffic travelling East on Oakhill Road (R125) turn left towards Rolestown Road then turn right onto Rolestown Road then right back onto Oakhill Road at Balcultry Road Junction (R125).

Traffic travelling West on Oakhill Road (R125) turn right at Balcultry Road Junction towards Rolestown Road then left onto Rolestown  then left back onto Oakhill Road (R125).

Local access will be maintained at all times. Emergency services access will also be made available in the event of an emergency.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan, Rush-Lusk, Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 12.00pm on the 3rd of July 2024.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
