Introduction:
The Place Standard Tool is being utilised in Mulhuddart as an innovative approach to community development. This tool promotes a comprehensive understanding of “place” by examining the crucial relationship between its physical and social elements. It employs 14 themes, each with guiding questions and prompts, to facilitate productive conversations and inform assessments for improvement. This initiative is designed to be inclusive, encouraging active participation from community members and local services and agencies alike.
By engaging in open discussions about what makes your community great and identifying areas that need improvement, participants can contribute valuable perspectives.
