TRAFFIC CALMING SCHEMES

 

 

Fingal County Council in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 and Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009 hereby gives notice that it has prepared a Scheme for the provision of traffic calming measures at the following locations:

 

  • Somerton Lane, Diswellstown, Dublin 15 – 1 No. Traffic Calming Ramp.
  • Rugged Lane, Porterstown, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Park Drive, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Ashfield Way, Huntstown, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Laurel Lodge Road, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – 1 No. of Traffic Calming Ramp.
  • Castlekock Elms, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Castleknock Vale, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – 3 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Castleknock Grange, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – 3 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Carpenterstown Road, Carpenterstown, Dublin 15 – 4 No. Traffic Calming Ramps.

 

The schemes include the provision of traffic calming ramps, appropriate road signage and markings where necessary.

 

Plans and particulars of the Schemes as shown on Drawing Numbers 2018-PD-TC-001 to 2018-PD-TC-009, are available for inspection from Friday the 29th of June 2018 as follows:-

 

Fingal County Council Offices,           Monday - Friday          9.30am - 4.30pm

Grove Road,                                                               

Blanchardstown,

Dublin 15.

 

The proposed schemes can also be viewed on-line on the Fingal County Council website at:  https://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse

 

Representations in relation to the Schemes may be made in writing to: Ms. Olivia McCormack, Administrative Officer, Operations Department, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 not later than 4.30 p.m. on Friday the 10th  of August 2018.

 

 

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Traffic Calming Scheme will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Traffic Calming Scheme in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
