TRAFFIC CALMING SCHEME

Balrothery, Co. Dublin

Fingal County Council in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 and Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009 hereby gives notice that it has prepared a further Traffic Management Scheme for Balrothery, Co. Dublin.

The scheme includes the following: • Creating a priority T-Junction at Darcystown Road/ Coach Road which will entail buildouts to the   footpaths on both sides of Darcystown Road, removal of the roundabout, associated road   markings and signage. • 2 No. Road Cushions and associated road markings and signage along Knightswood. • A 3 tonne ban on all approaches to Balrothery Village. Plans and particulars of the Scheme as shown on Drawing Number 2019-TC-001, are available for inspection from Tuesday 3rd September 2019 to Tuesday 8th October 2019 as follows:

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Traffic Calming Scheme will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Traffic Calming Scheme in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
