TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF KILLEEK LANE, ST. MARGARETS, CO DUBLIN

 

An application has been received from KN Group, for permission to temporarily close L7265 Killeek Lane, St. Margarets, Co. Dublin, to facilitate the installation of a new duct route. It is proposed the road will be closed from 9.00am to 6.00pm on Thursday 15th October 2020 until Sunday 8th November 2020 (Excluding Sundays)

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:
Swords Bound Traffic:
All vehicular traffic travelling from St Margarets/R122 towards Swords at Kilreesk Road L7365-0 continue to Killeek Lane.  Follow Killeek Lane for 1.5km until R108.    At R108 head north towards your destination.


 
St Margarets Bound Traffic:

All vehicular traffic travelling from Swords towards St Margarets/R122 take the R108 for 1.5km until the junction of R108/L-7270-0 Killeek Lane (South) and take a right turn. Follow road for 1.5km and follow Killeek Lane/ L-7270-0 towards St Margarets/R122 and continue to destination.

 

Alternatively, remain on the R108 to the roundabout and take the second turn R108/L-3132 to St. Margarets/R122.

 

Local Access will be facilitated where possible and extensive diversion and information signage will be in place.

 

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm Friday 25th September 2020.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
