TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CORNSTOWN ROAD, CO DUBLIN

 

An application has been received from KN Group, for permission to temporarily close Cornstown Road, Co. Dublin, to facilitate the installation of a new duct route. It is proposed the road will be closed from 9.00am to 6.00pm on Monday 4th January 2021 until Friday 29th January 2021 (Excluding Sundays)

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:
 

Ashbourne Bound Traffic:  All vehicular traffic travelling from Garristown to Ashbourne
At the junction Ballymadun Road/Cornstown Road continue north on Tober Road for 600m until junction Tober Road/McGraths Road.  

At Junction Archerstown Road/Ballymadun Road take a right and continue along McGraths Road for 1.5km.

At junction McGraths Road/R130 take a right and continue R130 for 950m until junction R130 and Cornstown Road. Take a right and continue Cornstown Road for 2km and continue to your destination.


 
Garristown Bound Traffic:  All vehicular traffic travelling from Ashbourne to Garristown:
At the junction Archerstown Road/Cornstown Road continue east on Cornstown Road for 2km until junction Cornstown Road/R130. Turn Left and Continue on R130 for 950m until you reach junction R130/McGraths Road.

At the junction take a left and continue McGraths Road for 1.5km until junction McGraths Road/Tober Road. Continue south to your destination.

 

Local Access will be facilitated.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm Friday 11th December 2020.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
